In the event of broken pipes and flooding causing you to need to get into your new water meter box (blue lid) to shut the water off, DO NOT BREAK THE LOCK! CALL US!

We will come shut off your water quickly. We are ordering keys to provide to everyone who does not have one already (they use the same key as the old box).
IF YOU BREAK THE LOCK OFF THE BLUE LID, YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THE COST OF REPLACING THE LID. Those boxes must stay locked.

NOTICE: Your water meter is not at any danger of freezing in this cold spell as long as the lid stays on the box. Once the temp drops into the low teens, you should be running water, both hot and cold, in any sink or shower faucets that are against outside walls. If you do that, you are not only protecting your home from freezing and flooding but further GUARANTEEING the meter cannot freeze.
